Terms
and Conditions
The following Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with
Getaway2Cyprus.com, and to all persons included in the booking. Please
read them carefully, as you will be asked to agree to them before
confirming your reservation. If there is anything that you do not
understand, or if you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to
contact us at
mail@Getaway2Cyprus.com.
|
1. The Contract
Getaway2Cyprus.com acts as booking agents on behalf of all the
Hotels, and the service providers that are featured on this website, and therefore the contract
is between the person making the booking and the providers of the
service. When you make a booking for accommodation, we send
you an e-mail to confirm the booking, and it is at this point that a
legally binding contract comes in to existence. The date of the
contract is therefore the date stated on the e-mail confirming your
booking.
Once the contract is made, the accommodation and or service provider is responsible
for providing you with what you have booked, and it is your
responsibility to pay for it.
|
|
2. Confirmation of Booking
When you receive confirmation of your booking, it is important that
you check the details carefully. If there is anything that you
consider to be incorrect, you must notify us immediately, or at
least within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation, by sending an
e-mail to
reservations@Getaway2Cyprus.com quoting the Booking Reference.
Failure to notify us within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation,
will result in the Change Fees, and Cancellation charges as referred
to in these Terms & Conditions being applicable.
|
|
3. The Principal
In parties of two or more people, the person who makes the booking
will be regarded as the principal, and this person accepts
responsibility for full payment of the booking, including all cost
and charges in respect of all members of the party.
If the principal is under 18 years of age (on the date of
commencement of the booking) and
the parents, or guardians are not travelling with him or her, then
either a parent or a guardian must write to us giving written
consent to arrangements being made with us by the principal.
|
|
4. Confirmation of Booking, and any other information
Confirmation of the booking, and any other information will be sent
to the e-mail address provided by the principal, who is in turn
responsible for ensuring that all other members of the party are
kept fully informed. |
|
5. Holiday Insurance
We strongly recommend that you take out adequate holiday insurance.
It is your responsibility to make sure that you have adequate
insurance cover, which should include amongst other things, all
medical costs, and the cost of assistance, including return to your
country of residence in the event of an accident or illness.
|
|
6. Payments
Full payment of the total amount
due will be transacted through the credit card account given, as
soon as the booking is confirmed. By agreeing to these booking
conditions, you consent to this procedure. To safeguard your
interest, we use sophisticated technology to secure your credit card
details.
Payment for incidental Hotel extras, such as mini bars, telephone charges,
etc. have to be made directly to the accommodation provider, when
you check out.
|
|
7. Special Requests
If you have any special requests for the accommodation provider that do not form part of the
standard accommodation services as described in this website (for
example dietary requirements, cots, etc.) you can notify us at the
time of making the booking by including details in the ‘Enter
Special Requests’ box. If you want to make a Special Request after
your booking has been confirmed, then you should send an e-mail to
us at
reservations@Getaway2Cyprus.com quoting your Booking Reference.
We will pass on all such requests to the relevant accommodation
provider, but we can not guarantee that they will be met.
Furthermore, if the accommodation provider is unable to meet such
requests, neither we, nor they, can have any liability to you in
this respect.
|
|
8. Changes
to Confirmed Bookings
If you want to change any details of your booking after it has been
confirmed by us, we will be pleased to do our best to help. However,
the accommodation, and or service provider has no obligation to make any change.
Only the principal who made the original booking can change it, and
to do so he or she
should send an e-mail to
reservations@Getaway2Cyprus.com quoting the Booking
Reference. We will then use our best endeavours to make the
necessary arrangements with the accommodation and or service provider, and confirm
accordingly. At the same time, we will inform the principal of the
costs involved, including our standard administration fee of 15 CY£
per change.
If you change the number of people booked, the
accommodation, and or service price will be re-calculated for the new size of party.
For example if your party is reduced in number, this may mean that
accommodation is under-occupied, and each of the remainder of your
party may have to pay more.
If you wish to change your booking while on
holiday (e.g. upgrading accommodation or extending your stay), all
requests are subject to availability, and any extra costs involved
must be paid immediately.
|
|

10. Cancellation Insurance
Should you wish to protect yourself against the cancellation charges
referred to in section 9, you can do so when making your booking by
simply clicking on Yes, in the section Cancellation Insurance. It
should be noted, that we are not able to arrange Cancellation
Insurance after your booking has been made.
It may be that the cancellation charges as referred to in section 9,
are recoverable under the terms of an Insurance Policy that you
have, or perhaps intend to arrange, providing that your reasons for
cancelling fall within the terms specified in the policy. This being
the case, you may not need to insure with us. It could be however,
that you would like to insure with us anyway, because most travel

would advise you to check the policy you have, or are intending to
arrange.
|
|
11. Changes
to Confirmed Bookings

to make any changes to any bookings. However, if in the unlikely
event that we are informed by the accommodation, and or service provider that it is
not possible to provide the accommodation, and or service that you have booked, we
will do our very best to provide you with similar accommodation, and
or service, of
equal standard. If we are unable to do this, or you prefer not to
accept our alternative, you may cancel free of charge.
|
|
12. Our Responsibility to you for your Booking
Because we are acting only as a Booking Agent, we
have no liability for any of the accommodation and or service arrangements, and in
particular no liability for any illness, personal injury, death, or
loss of any kind, unless caused by our negligence. Any claim for
damages for injury, illness, or death, arising from your stay in the
accommodation, or use of a service, must be brought against the
provider, and will be under the jurisdiction of the law of the
country in which the accommodation is located or the
service took place.
|
|

If you find it necessary to complain while you
are staying at the accommodation, you must inform the accommodation
management immediately, in order to give them the chance to resolve
the problem. You may lose any right to compensation, if you fail to
do so. If the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you should
contact us by calling 22 870498. This telephone number will be shown
on your Confirmation of Booking. We will act as an intermediary to
try and rectify the problem to your satisfaction as quickly as
possible. In the event that we are unable to do so, and you wish to
take matters further, you must do so directly with the accommodation
provider, and or owner concerned.
|
|
14. Indemnity (Accommodation Only)
When you book accommodation through
Getaway2Cyprus.com, you accept responsibility for the proper conduct
of yourself, and all of the members of your party during your stay.
The provider, and or owner of the accommodation reserves the right
at any time to terminate your stay, or that of any member of your
party due to misconduct, within their reasonable opinion. Should
this be found necessary, full cancellation charges will apply, and

under no obligation whatsoever to pay compensation, or meet any
costs or expenses you may incur as a result of your booking being
terminated in accordance with this section of our Terms &

agree to fully indemnify us against any claim (including legal
